ベルギーと日本を拠点とする建築設計事務所・Schenk Hattoriの作品集。建築の作品集では一般に作品毎にテキスト/イメージ/図面がまとめて配置される。 それに対しこの本では、作品を横断してテキスト/イメージ/図面がまとめられており、それぞれのメディアを閲覧するのに最適なフォーマットが採用された3つのセクションから構成されている。 この構成により、異なる作品の中に共通したコンセプトや造形言語などを見出すことができ、全体に通底する設計者の個性が浮かび上がる。

Monograph of Schenk Hattori, an architecture office based in Belgium and Japan. The text/images/plans corresponding to each architectural work are usually placed together in architectural monographs. In contrast, the text/images/plans in this book are spread across the work, and composed of 3 sections, each adopting an optimum format for viewing each medium. This format allows the finding of common concepts and visual language used in different works and the emerging of the characteristics of the designer that is common to all the projects.
