科学技術館を会場に開催された新たなアートイベント・EASTEAST_ TOKYO 2023の総合デザイン。 可能性を秘めた多様な個人から成るコミュニティーが境界を飛び越えて縦横無尽に結びつき、美術もカルチャーも垣根なく融合する場をつくるというEASTEAST_の理念を体現するVIを目指した。 バルーンのようなパーツが重なり合うオリジナルタイプフェイス、伸縮自在で動き回る自由なアンダーバー、硬さとラフさのちょうど中間くらいのムードは、それらのビジュアル的な翻訳の結果である。 アーティストやギャラリー、オーディエンスが主体のプラットフォームであるため、特徴的且つ主張しすぎないバランスを注意深く探った。 東京TDC賞2024 TDC賞受賞。

Comprehensive design for EASTEAST_ TOKYO 2023, a new art event held at the Science Museum. The aim was to create a visual identity that embodies the philosophy of EASTEAST_ which seeks to create a space where diverse individuals, brimming with potential form a community that transcends boundaries, seamlessly connecting art and culture without boundaries. The visual translation of these elements is reflected in an original typeface where balloon-like parts overlap, a flexible and dynamic underline that moves freely, and a mood that strikes a balance between rigidity and roughness. Attention was put into finding balance for a distinctive yet non-assertive design, given that artists, galleries and the audience are the main actors of the platform. Received the TDC Award in the Tokyo TDC Award 2024.
