建築家・北川原温氏の東京藝術大学教授退任展のためのグラフィックデザイン。 月食や日食、底から覗いた円錐など様々なものに解釈でき、比喩的なイメージも膨らむ抽象度の高いモチーフとして、中心に向かってグラデーション状に濃くなる黒い円を配置した。 会場サインは、白い空間に浮かんでは消える銀色の文字。
Graphic design for the retirement exhibition of architect, Atsushi Kitagawara as a professor at Tokyo University of the Arts. The black circle that darkens in gradation towards the centre—can be interpreted as various things, including the lunar eclipse, solar eclipse, or peeping out from the bottom of a cone—is a highly abstract motif that can also expand as a metaphorical image. The venue signs are silver letterings that float and disappear inside the white space.
